Even as a kid, Kyle always knew what he wanted to do. He would draw buildings and sketch floor plans and developments for fun and spent his summers helping his dad remodel homes in the Northwest. As an adult he managed, repaired and maintain rental properties as well. He has experienced everything from crawling under houses and repairing rotten sub floors to excavating and installing Side Sewers. He learned all aspects of the trade from the ground up.

In January of 2001, he obtained his Real Estate License. Understanding that Real Estate and Development go hand in hand, he then learned how to navigate the process, regulations, and requirements of both. He worked in partnerships building multiple single-family homes and hundreds of multifamily units around the Pacific Northwest until now focusing on Kyle Calkins Excavation whom he runs with Errin Calkins his wife of 12 years and now his Realtor

Errin is Washington born and raised. She is first and foremost a wife and mother of their 2 young men. She is a Licensed Realtor with Hawkins Poe and she stepped into Kyle Calkins Excavation in 2018. She now runs the Real Estate and admin side while Kyle runs the Construction side.  Together they help both homeowners and investors achieve a their RE goals.
